Silver Spire United Church

Silver Spire is an Affirming Church in the Niagara Region. The Affirm United designation indicates that a faith community has worked to prove that its congregation is actively working for inclusion of all sexual orientations and gender identities in the life and work of the church. Silver Spire has changed their mission statement to reflect this. They participate in Pride in the Park. They have hosted sharing circles and study groups to highlight issues of need within the LGBTQ+ community. They have planned to provide ongoing opportunities through events and workshops for learning and action to serve all people equally in the church and community.
