The Cyborg Circus Project

The Cyborg Circus Project is a Trans and Disability-led, Disability Justice focused community arts and social service organization for disabled young people aged 16-35. We are queer and trans led, and explicitly a space that supports disabled youth who are multiply marginalized. No formal diagnosis is required to participate in our programs and we include youth with any disabilities into our programs including physical disability, sensory disability, learning disability, mental health disability, chronic pain, chronic illness and those who are beginning to question if they have a disability/illness. Get in touch to find out about upcoming programs or follow us on social media.

All community programs have ASL and PSWs. We strive to use locations that have gender neutral washrooms and are always willing to set up a buddy system in any spaces that do not have gender neutral washrooms. We accommodate dietary needs with meals and generally default to vegan gluten free meals. Some dance classes are run with community access when they are unfunded meaning we all work together to meet everyone’s access needs. We are often able to subsidize door to door transit for participants if there are barriers to accessing conventional TTC services. We can provide subsidies for childcare if required.
