York Region’s Sexual Health Clinics provide the following services in a non-judgmental environment:
•Condoms at no cost
•Pregnancy tests, counselling and referral
•Sexual health examinations
•Sexually transmitted infection (STI) testing and treatment
•HIV testing (including anonymous HIV testing and Rapid HIV testing)
•Hepatitis A and B immunization
•Gardasil 9 vaccination
•Needle exchange services
•Counselling and information on: ◦Birth control
◦STI and Blood borne infections (BBI)
◦Sexual orientation
◦Sexuality
◦Relationships
Birth control is available for purchase at low cost.
York Region also has the Street Outreach Van (see York.ca web site for more information or call to speak to a Sexual Health Line Public Health Nurse for services such as needle exchange)
