Youth Outreach, AIDS Committee of Durham Region

ACDR youth outreach programs aim to reduce new HIV infections among youth priority groups through peer-to-peer education and engagement, by increasing knowledge of HIV and safer sex, building capacity through community and leadership, access to free condoms, and making changes in behaviour over time. Opportunities for volunteering, free sexual health workshops to any or group who ask, and judgment-free information. Although the office is in Oshawa, the programs are virtual and region-wide.
