Transcend is a social and support group for trans, non-binary, gender non-conforming and gender questioning children and youth. These meetings take place at the same time as a group for parents/guardians/caregivers of trans, non-binary, gender non-conforming and gender questioning children and youth meet in another room in the same location to discuss how to help support their children.
LGBTQ positive bowling on Sunday afternoons, from September - May. This is not a youth-specific space or group.

ACDR youth outreach programs aim to reduce new HIV infections among youth priority groups through peer-to-peer education and engagement, by increasing knowledge of HIV and safer sex, building capacity through community and leadership, access to free condoms, and making changes in behaviour over time. Opportunities for volunteering, free sexual health workshops to any or group who ask, and judgment-free information.
York Pride organizes year-round events as well as one of Canada's fastest growing regional Pride Week Festivals, staged each June to celebrate Two-Spirit, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans and Queer (2SLGBTQ+) residents throughout York Region, Ontario. York Pride is run exclusively by a team of dedicated volunteers and representatives from local community organizations.
Our mission is: to organize festivals, events, entertainments and other initiatives which, in the context of sexuality and gender identity, across York Region and beyond, illuminate and celebrate human diversity, captivate the general public, inspire inclusivity and foster harmony and acceptance.
