Glow is the oldest continually-running university-based LGBT+ group in Canada. Run entirely by dedicated student volunteers, it offers a wide variety of discussion groups, social events, advocacy opportunities, awareness campaigns, resources, and information.
Glow’s confidential peer support hours run from 5 p.m. - 6 p.m. Monday to Friday. Peer support is provided by trained volunteers
To provide a safe space for members and allies of the LGBTQ2S community and provide resources to anyone who is curious and/or questioning. We encourage self care and allow the space to be used for anything that will let the members take care of their well-being.We also provide social planning, offering socials and events to volunteers and community members.
SMILES IN ACTION is a Canadian active healthy living program that promotes positive and lasting changes in the communities by improving physical and emotional well-being through music, movement and dance, including the very prestigious Dance Sport.
Around the Rainbow
We provide LGBTQ+ services and resources to our communities to support families and individuals. Our services include:
*Free training and education for service providers, schools and non-profit NGOs serving Ottawa to create welcoming, inclusive and equal spaces for LGBTQ+ families and individuals
Rainbow families art and play afternoons for LGBTQ+ families with young children & families with young gender diverse children
Support group for parents and caregivers of gender creative, non-binary, transgender children, youth & young adults
Arts-based group for youth (11-17) who are gender diverse, trans, non-binary and/or questioning
Special LGBTQ+ family events
Information, referral and supports for LGBTQ+ families and individuals
Counselling services for LGBTQ+ adults with an LGBTQ+ identified counselor
Creating 2SLGBTQ+ Events for our queer community and allies in the Grey-Bruce Simcoe Region

We provide individual and group support for trans and questioning folks, as well as their loved ones. We also offer advocacy, public education, and community building events.
Supporting Our Youth - 2SLGBTQQIA+ Mentor and Advocacy Project is part of a research project though the OFIFC (Ontario Federation of Friendship Centres). It seeks to build more Inclusive and supportive communities in terms of Gender and Sexual Diversity. We offer: One on one support, Two Spirit Circle, Activities and events and Outreach.
