FiveFourteen

We are the foster care agency for LGBTQ2S youth in Ontario, and the only one in Canada. We are Queer-owned and operated, and we believe in supporting the youth of our community. We have LGBTQ2S-positive foster homes in Windsor, and London. We connect our youth and their foster families to our network of LGBTQ2S positive and specialist supports and services, and we help you build strong and lasting connections in LGBTQ2S communities.

You have several options to access Five/Fourteen's enhanced supports for LGBTQ2 youth:

If you want to talk with us about being placed in one of our homes (in Windsor/London only) or accessing our enhanced services in your current foster home, you can talk with your CAS worker, or fill-in the self referral form on our website, and we can reach out to your CAS. After you submit the self referral form, you can expect to hear from us within two business days. If you don’t, feel free to contact Lou at 844 514 0514 x105 or by email at lou@fostering.ca.

If your foster parents are LGBTQ2-positive but need or want help to better support you, ask them to contact us and become a Five/Fourteen foster home.

If you feel your foster home is not LGBTQ2-supportive, you can tell your CAS worker you want a placement with Five/Fourteen. This is for ANY youth in Ontario. If you feel your CAS is not supportive of your sexual orientation and/or gender identity, you can contact us directly through our self-referral form.
