PRISM Program, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Oxford

If you are between the ages of 9 and 21 and identify as 2SLGBTQ+, then this program was created just for you! You get to hang out with an adult mentor who also identifies as 2SLGBTQ+. Your mentor can walk beside you as you achieve your goals in life, overcome challenges, try new things, and have fun. Your mentor will understand what it means to be 2SLGBTQ+ and will support you and celebrate your wonderful self!

You will get to hang out with your mentor for 2-4 hours once a week, every week. During your hang outs, you and your mentor can engage in fun activities that you both enjoy. These activities could include going to the movies, playing board games, going to Pride events, skating, hiking, video games and/or whatever you both enjoy.

The PRISM program also offers group programming. You get to hang out with other youth who identify as 2SLGBTQ+ in your community and experience all sorts of fun activities that are paid for by the agency,
