SAY OutLoud! Queer Youth Support Group

Supporting Altnerative Youth (SAY) OutLoud is an alternative youth group that offers a warm, inviting and safe place in the community for gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, inter-sex, two spirited, queer, questioning youth and their allies.

It's a great place for support and to build new friendships and more. Members range in age from 14 to members in their mid twenties. Most are students in or around the Quinte area. So come meet with us on Tuesday evenings and see what you think. Refreshments and snack is provided. Parents are welcome to come support their youth to attend as well.

SAY OutLoud hosts weekly support meetings to discuss life's challenges and benefits. Through these meetings, lasting friendships have been formed and barriers have been broken down. Some of the activities include, check-in, movies, games, events, group discussions and lots of laughter. We also offer youth a resource to find out about other support services and community events. Dating, relationships, coming out, education, spirituality, homophobia, the future, family, drugs, alcohol, mental health, bullying and AIDS are some of the many issues we continue to discuss.
