The Other 10%
The Other 10% is a group supported by Children’s Centre Thunder Bay for youth and young adults between the ages of 12 and 25 who are interested in exploring what it means – and doesn’t mean – to be a part of the 2SLGBTQ community.
Group meetings are adult-facilitated, but youth-driven and provide a safe space for participants to meet, discuss, and educate one another. The group also provides information and access to other community activities and resources to those who are interested.

Please note that there are no regular meetings during July and August, however there may be some special events planned over the summer months.

The Children's Centre is an accessible building for mobility devices and has gender neutral washrooms. The Children's Centre does not have a specific scent policy, but we will accommodate folks who need scent free spaces so please let us know if this is a barrier for you. Not all Other 10% in person events will be held here, but some will be. Details will always be included in the email about the event and participants are invited to inquire about specific accommodations by emailing Liz.
