Primarily provides services to family physicians and other health providers, also offers a volunteer-run referral service to assist trans and gender-diverse people in Hamilton to connect to gender-affirming care. A group of family physicians, other health care providers, and trans and gender-diverse individuals working together to increase the capacity of Hamilton’s primary health care system to deliver high-quality healthcare and integrate gender-affirming care into primary care across Hamilton.

GRCGED is an intersectional feminist group and community space dedicated to fighting oppression and promoting diversity through education, advocacy, activism, resource provision, skill-building, outreach and community-building on campus and in the region. We host bilingual discussion/support groups and social events in Eastern Ontario. Meetings are open to all, regardless of age, sexual orientation or gender identity. Parents, friends and spouses of LGBTQ persons are also welcome.

The 2SLGBTQIA+ Youth Mental Health Clinician offers short individual mental health support and counselling for 2SLGBTQIA+ youth ages 16-25 living in Hamilton, ON. Support is provided out of Good Shepherd Notre Dame House, St. Joseph's Health Care Youth Wellness Centre, or in the community. The Gilbert Centre provides social and support services to empower, promote health, and celebrate the lives of people living with and affected by HIV and other sexually transmitted infections (STI) and the individuals and families from the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer (LGBTQ) communities of Simcoe Muskoka.
We provide programming, education, and support services for those who are transgender, 2-spirit, gender diverse and individuals who are questioning their gender identity. Services are also offered for families, partners and loved ones. Services include groups and one-on-one peer support.
