The Gilbert Centre provides social and support services to empower, promote health, and celebrate the lives of people living with and affected by HIV and other sexually transmitted or blood borne infections (STBBIs) and the individuals and families from the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer (LGBTQ) communities of Simcoe Muskoka.
QT Youth Connection is a drop-in and social space for Queer, Trans, Intersex, Questioning, and Non-Binary youth. A discord server has been created as an e-drop in social space for youth to connect with each other while social distancing. Please contact Ellis at EllisG@GilbertCentre.ca for a server link.
The Gender and Sexuality Resource Centre (GSRC) is a safe(r) space for folks wishing to connect with queer and trans community, and we provide support for Carleton students and the broader Ottawa community alike! We provide peer support, referrals to community resources, educational workshops, free events, and material resources: Menstrual supplies, safe(r) sex supplies, and access to over 1000 books in our queer library! The GSRC is operating virtually during the COVID-19 pandemic, and our drop-in social space on Carleton University's campus is temporarily closed for the health and safety of our community.

LGBTOUT (Lesbians, Gays, Bisexuals, and Trans People of the University of Toronto) is an organization of student volunteers dedicated to providing resources, peer support, and programming for LGBTQ2SA students at the University of Toronto.
We are a community-based organization made up of dedicated, caring, committed individuals.
Services include support for those living with HIV, sexual health education, referrals, support, and the provision of harm reduction supplies in a safe, confidential and respectful environment.
StreetWorks offers Consumption & Treatments Services (CTS). This is a safe place to get information about how to be safe, get connected, and use their substances supervised by harm reduction staff. Paramedics are also onsite to provide immediate intervention in the event of an overdose.
Individuals can come to our CTS for more than just supervised consumption. We also offer naloxone training, basic wound care and referrals to social programming and treatment. We can provide T packs for testosterone injection upon request.
We offer non-judgmental peer support services and programming. All of our programs are for people working in the sex industry.
We provide monthly workshops on sexual health + education, distribute harm reduction materials and work with community organizations + service providers to better meet the needs of sex workers.

A support group for HIV positive youth ages 13-29 to connect with other youths in their areas that’s living with HIV.

Free legal services for people living with HIV in Ontario. Anyone living with HIV can contact us for free legal advice. HALCO is also active in public legal education, community development and law reform activities.
ACAS’ Youth Program strives to prevent the spread of HIV/AIDS and Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) by providing culturally and linguistically appropriate education and outreach to East and Southeast Asian youths, including lesbian, gay, bisexual, transsexual, transgender, queer, questioning (LGBTTQQ),curious or undecided youth, across Toronto. All our activities are based on a non-judgmental peer education approach.Queer Asian Youth (QAY) is an initiative of the ACAS Youth Program that has been providing social spaces, capacity development, and peer support for LGBTTQQ, curious and undecided East and Southeast Asian youths and their friends since 2000.

Our sexual health clinic provides (Sexually Transmitted Infection and Blood Born Infection (STIBBI) testing and treatment as well as HIV point of care rapid testing, and information on accessing PrEP and PEP. We work with the 2SLGBTQI+ to ensure our clinics are welcoming and inclusive. We are affiliated with Trellis and the Infection and Immunology Clinic (IIC) in Kingston. We provide birth control for recipient clients who were assigned female at birth, regardless of their current gender identity AND are not undergoing suppression of endogenous puberty AND have not undergone gender-affirming hormone therapy or surgical interventions.

Men's Program
Counselling is for men 18 and older on an individual basis. Appointments can be booked over the phone or by email. Counselling is confidential and free. We can also do hospital, police, and court accompaniments.

Taylor the Turtle
Taylor the Turtle is a sexual abuse prevention program for children. It teaches them their rights surrounding their bodies and how to handle situations when they do not feel safe. Taylor the Turtle is a program that can be run by staff. It consists of a presentation and a workshop.

QueerEvents.ca is a central portal for all 2SLBTQ+ events, resources and opportunities across Southwestern Ontario. Our programing and initiatives aim to provide safe and inclusive spaces specifically for the queer community which include Food for Queers, House of Anansi, Queer Prom for Youth, Queer Family Playtime and much more.

OK2BME is a set of supportive services for 2SLGBTQIA+ identified children, teens, adults and their families in Waterloo Region. The OK2BME program consists of three unique areas including confidential counselling services, an OK2BME Youth Group for individuals 12-18 as well as public education, consulting and training around 2SLGBTQIA+ issues. (Youth groups are free, and we will work with you so cost will never be a barrier to accessing counselling support.)
The Studio is an arts & crafts and games based Drop In program for all youth, age 12-25, that prioritizes the needs of marginalized youth, particularly LGBTQ+ youth and youth of colour; engages in anti-oppressive community building; and provides workshops, 1-on-1 support & referrals regarding mental health, education, housing, and employment.

Positive Youth Outreach (PYO) is a peer support program for young people (ages 16-29) living with HIV. It is coordinated by poz youth, for poz youth. The program includes weekly group programming, which includes workshops, social events, and leadership opportunities, as well as 1:1 peer support around issues such as sexual health, HIV status disclosure, navigating health and social assistance systems, and more. Canadian Parents of Trans & Gender Diverse Kids is a support group for parents and guardians of gender diverse children, youth, and adults, including those who are two-spirit, transgender, genderqueer, non-binary, agender, gender fluid, gender creative, or gender-questioning!

This group is focused on non-judgemental support and information sharing. This is a 'secret' group, which means that membership is completely secret - only other members know who is part of this group, and only members can see what is posted. In order to maintain a safe place for everyone, members are asked to keep confidential any identifying details, including photos, shared in this group.

Project Youth AFFIRM seeks to integrate identity affirmation with cognitive-behavioural interventions that are already known to work. This combined intervention is presented in the form of eight sessions targeted at LGBTTQQ2SA* youth and geared towards reducing risky sexual behaviour and depression.
AFFIRM is a eight module, manualized intervention. It is focused on reducing depression and improving coping and sexual self-efficacy for LGBTTQQ2SA* youth by providing them opportunities to develop identity cognition (self-awareness, identifying risk), mood (recognizing the link between thoughts and feelings), and behaviour (identifying strengths and ways of coping), as well as equipping them with the tools to manage and influence those factors by themselves.
PFLAG Canada Durham Region supports all persons within our reach with their journeys through gender identity, gender expression and sexual orientation. We seek to provide education and resources to the greater Durham community to help encourage inclusion, diversity and equity.
We are the only direct 2SLGBTQI support service provider in the Durham Region.
The Triangle Program hosts wonderful LGBTQ2+ youth who are in need of a smaller and safer space where they can find and build community. We strive to reflect our students’ experiences in an LGBTQ2+ and social justice-focused curriculum. We offer caring and flexible supports to help our students earn their high school diploma.
We are a high school program under the Toronto District School Board. We offer a lunch program, social worker supports, and free supplies and field trips.
